Center Director Marla Hofer has more than 10 years experience in the LASIK industry, which has provided the foundation she needs to continue building her successful and fulfilling career as part of the Viso Lasik Medspas Charlotte team. Previously, Hofer worked for one of the largest Lasik providers in the United States as a Senior Ophthalmic Tech.

Jeanie Brown, PRC

Jeanie has been in medical sales for over four years. She earned her MBA from Boise State University in 2004 and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and International Business from Oklahoma State University in 1996. Brown and her family moved to Charlotte in 2006. She is active in the community through her membership in the Junior League of Charlotte and the Charlotte Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumni Association.

Jennifer Otrezov, Concierge

Jennifer Otrezov graduated from Olivet College with a degree in Biology and concentration in Pre-Med. Jennifer also attended the Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine and Technology where she studied Sleep Medicine and Polysomnography. Jennifer’s winning professional combination of experience in both customer service and education in science contributes to her passion for the field and makes her a valuable asset to the Charlotte Viso Lasik Medspas team.

Dr. Gary Slaughter, MD, Medical Director

Dr. Gary Slaughter is a practicing independent dermatologist in addition to serving as Medical Director of the Viso Lasik Medspas Charlotte facility. His professional focus is the recent trend in research and treatment of hyper-pigmentation of the skin. Dr. Slaughter is actively involved in many community volunteer efforts in the Charlotte region.
